Heine's Mini 2000 Pocket Ophthalmoscope offers precision Heine optics and a full range of necessary features, all at a price that matches its size. A 2.5V Heine XHL halogen bulb provides bright shadow-free light with ideal color temperature for fundus examination. 4 apertures accommodate all types of primary exams: Large spot, small spot, hemi-spot, and red-free filter. The durable, impact-resistant polycarbonate housing contains an illuminated lens display for ease of reading diopter selection, and a rubber brow rest to protect user's glasses and steady instrument against the brow. Included are 2 of the elegant, non-slip ribbed design handles that have a unique clip switch that turns OFF automatically when clipped back into pocket. Each handle takes 2 AA batteries (not included).
